For several years, I have run the web site www.sandboxliteracy.com. Recently, someone I respect a great deal suggested that I should become a broader part of the early literacy conversation. To that end, I have decided to launch this blog.  The purpose here is to share my techniques. I welcome your comments.

Many of the posts you find here will also have links back to the the main website, other resources, or will discuss how to leverage resources found on the website. The goal here is to improve teaching techniques for teachers, make life a little easier and ultimately, produce better learning outcomes for students.  I hope you enjoy this new endeavor and feel free to pop over the main web site any time you are looking for a resource for your classroom.
